At Rafiki's side, of course, are Timon and Pumbaa, with their unmistakable manner. The story is told in flashbacks and begins with Mufasa as an orphaned lion cub who is lost and alone until he meets Taka, the heir to the lion throne. This chance encounter is the start of a long journey for an extraordinary group of misfits in search of their destiny. Their bond is put to the test when the friends must escape a menacing and deadly enemy.
